Wow - we're on a roller coaster! Being tied up the last week or so, I read this chapter and the last as a oner. I'm breathless. Poor Tommy at Bells .... what a lost opportunity.
Thanks, Alison, and for the roller coaster remark. I remember that afternoon in Bell's Music (name changed, of course). I was so impressed by how the publisher really tried to help me and play the tape. He was a very busy man! Still Tommy has other publishers still to try!
